The local United Way has announced a goal for their latest fundraising campaign.
United Way of Hastings and Prince Edward unveiled the $2.2 million goal this morning during an event at West Zwick’s Park in Belleville.
The team exceeded their $2 million goal last year.
Dan McCullough, Assistant General Manager at MAGNA Autosystems, has been chosen as the Campaign Cabinet Chair for the annual campaign.
“United Way HPE has been a driving force for positive change in our community for 65 years this year. “We are thankful that Dan and the incredible team of volunteer cabinet members are joining us to help raise as much as possible. Through funded agencies, workplace campaigns, special events, leadership and legacy giving or individual contributions, United Way HPE has been able to address critical needs and improve the lives of countless individuals and families,” United Way HPE executive director Brandi Hodge, in a statement.
