The City of Belleville has released the following statement, as we get ready for the Thanksgiving long weekend.
BELLEVILLE – Please note the following changes to City services during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend:
- City Hall – Closed Oct. 9.
- Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre – Special schedule for Oct. 7 and 8. With few exceptions, most programs will be cancelled.
o Regular ice will operate all day on Oct. 7 and 8.
o FDC track will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 7 and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 8.
o There will be no programs and the customer service desk will be closed on Oct. 9. For more details, visit: QSWC.ca.
- Transit – Regular transit and mobility transit will NOT run Oct. 9.
- Leaf & Yard Waste Depot – Closed Oct. 9.
- Thurlow Landfill – Closed Oct. 9.
- Meyers Pier – Closed Oct. 9.
There will be no changes to curbside garbage, green bin, recycling and bulky items collection.
