Belleville Police have arrested and charged one suspect in connection to a fatal stabbing over the weekend.
Police say that they were called to a nightclub at 320 North Front Street early Saturday, shortly after midnight.
There were reports that multiple people were stabbed.
Police say that two men from Belleville were transported to hospital. Christian Williams, 23, was pronounced dead. Police say a 30-year-old, whose name has not been released, was transported to Kingston with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police have announced in an update this afternoon, that one suspect was arrested yesterday at his residence in Peterborough without incident.
Hayden Moreton, 24, is charged with one count of 2nd degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
Moreton was held for a hearing in Belleville today.
