Belleville Police have released details about a bold theft in the east end of the City.
Police say that yesterday just after 7 a.m., a homeowner woke up to find that both of his vehicles that were parked in his driveway, were stolen overnight.
Officers believe that unknown suspects entered the home and grabbed the keys to the two vehicles. Police say that the suspects also stole winter clothing and a Trek bike. The incident is believed to have taken place between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. early in the day.
Belleville Police say that later on yesterday, they received word that one of the stolen vehicles was recovered in the Durham area.
Police are still on the hunt for the other stolen vehicle, a 2011 silver Honda CRV with a dent above the back passenger window. The vehicle has the license plate CWKE 145.
