Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Quinte region today.
Heavy rain, strong winds, and hail are all possible this afternoon. Environment Canada says Belleville could see 30-40 mm of rain this afternoon with a risk of a thunderstorm. High of 26 Celsius but feeling more like 34 Celsius.
The chance of showers and thunderstorms will continue overnight with a low of 19 Celsius.
Environment Canada is calling for more rain and a thunderstorm again tomorrow afternoon as the humidity continues to stick around.
