The Belleville Senators begin their ninth AHL season on the road this weekend.
The Sens will play the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (Phildelphia Flyers) on Saturday, and then visit the Bridgeport Islanders (New York Islanders) for a game on Sunday afternoon. The home opener will be next Saturday against the Toronto Marlies.
Over the summer, the Belleville Senators and City of Belleville reached a lease extension agreement that will ensure the team calls Belleville home until at least 2029-2030. The hockey club has also introduced a number of initiatives, including Winning Wednesdays, tickets as low as $25, and assisting with the Belleville General Hospital Foundation’s Fracture Clinic Campaign.
