Students in Grade four to six, are invited to share what home means to them.
Habitat For Humanity is currently accepting essays and poems from student on the topic up until February 20th.
Habitat For Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings is hoping to have 250 entries for the national contest. Each local entry is a $10 donation. There will be three winners from across the country. They will each receive $30,000 for their local Habitat For Humanity’s home building project, along with a class pizza party and iPad. There will be nine runner-up prizes this year which will feature a $10,000 Habitat grant, class pizza party, and tablet. The winners will be announced in June.
