The Canadian groundhogs are predicting an early spring, while Phil down in Pennsylvania is once again proving to be fickle.
Wiarton Willie in Bruce County, Ontario and Fred la Marmotte, in Quebec, reportedly did not see their shadows this morning, predicting an early spring.
Punxsutawney Phil down in Pennsylvania, has seen his shadow and believes there will be six more weeks of winter. U.S forecasters have been quick to remind Phil this morning, that he is only 40% accurate.
Shubenacadie Sam in Nova Scotia was able to sleep in this morning. The Nova Scotia government gave Sam the day off, as the region braces for up to 25 cm of snow.
