It’s always a two-day celebration for Canada in Wellington.
Prince Edward County has announced that on Tuesday, June 30th, Wellington Main Street will be closed between Wharf Street and Beach Street. Beach Street will also be road. The closures will take effect from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. to accommodate the Wellington Street Dance and fireworks show. Visitors are encouraged to park at the area and walk down, as parking will be limited in the downtown core.
Wellington will host a Canada Day parade on Wednesday, July 1st. Wellington Main Street will be closed to traffic between Belleville Street and Consecon Street, from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Belleville Street will also be closed during that time between the Wellington Arena and Wellington Main Street.
