Five regional bands will be coming together for one big show on Sunday, July 5th.
The Trenton Citizen Band is hosting their second Mass Band Concert. The free show from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. will be held at the Bob Wannamker Amphitheatre at Centennial Park in Trenton.
The concert is free and visitors are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair.
Over 80 musicians will be together on stage. The musicians will be from the Trenton Citizens Band, 8 Wing Concert Band, Stirling Citizens’ Band, Belleville Concert Band, and Hastings County Concert Band.
“Our goal is to build a sense of community between the bands, and their members in a spirit of cooperation, while providing for the audience a wonderful musical experience,” said Dan Shaer, Director of The Trenton Citizen Band, in a statement.
Here is our interview with Dan that aired on the morning show today.
