The 18th annual Blair Smith Memorial Fish with Kids event will take place on Saturday, July 25th.
The free event at Centennial Park in Trenton will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“My husband was an avid angler who took our son and daughter on countless fishing trips where they made treasured memories. Offering families a free opportunity to learn about fishing and share in that joy is exactly what he would have wanted,” says event organizer Tammy Smith.
Children must wear a life jacket and be with an adult. Everyone who wishes to participate should bring their own fishing poles and tackle.
There will be face painting, hotdogs, drinks, and the first 150 kids will receive a bag with fishing tackle.
