Two young children are now without parents, following a fire earlier this month.
Belleville Firefighters were called to the residential fire at a row house, on September 6th at 5 a.m.
Two people were helped out by firefighters and sent to hospital.
Investigators have determined that lithium-ion batteries were involved in the fire.
The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office continues to investigate.
The family has announced over the weekend, that the two people involved – Erica and Chris Keegan – have died.
