The City of Quinte West is encouraging residents to make sure they are on the voters’ list for the October municipal election.
Here’s the latest note from staff:
Check if your information is on the voters’ list:
- Online at quintewestvotes.ca/VotersList
- By phone at 1-343-303-0831
- In person at Quinte West City Hall (7 Creswell Dr., Trenton)
Update or add your information online any time, or in person during operating hours.
You may vote if you are a Canadian citizen, are 18 or older and live, own or rent property in the City of Quinte West.
Eligible voters who are on the voters’ list will receive a voter information letter with important information on when and where to vote, and a unique PIN and instructions for online voting. Voter information letters will arrive in the mail by Oct. 7.
About the 2026 Quinte West municipal election
This October, residents will cast their votes for mayor, their ward councillor(s) and the school board trustee for their school support designation. Voting for the Quinte West municipal election begins on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. and continues until Election Day, Monday, Oct. 26, at 8 p.m. Eligible voters can vote:
- Online anytime from Oct. 14 to Oct. 26, 2026;
- In person at any advanced voting location on Oct. 14, Oct. 17 and Oct. 20, 2026; or
- In person at any Election Day voting location on Oct. 26, 2026
