Belleville marking September 30th with event at Market Square

The National Day For Truth and Reconciliation – Orange Shirt Day – is this Wednesday, September 30th.

The City of Belleville will be marking the day with a free ceremony at Market Square. The event starts at 11 a.m. and will feature members of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte.

This week, key signs and landmarks across Belleville will be lit in orange. The Belleville Public Library will also have a special exhibit and reading list.
