Belleville Senators forward Philippe Daoust joined us on the morning show today.
The 24-year-old, who was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in 2020, had his best professional season last year with 50 points in 63 games.
The Belleville Senators will start their regular-season at home for the first time on Friday, against the Hamilton Hammers (AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders).
The first 3,000 fans will receive a clapper.
The B-Sens held a media event earlier this week, and revealed that several initiatives are being planned for the 10th anniversary season, including a special anniversary jersey that the Sens will wear at least ten times. A documentary is also on the way showcasing how the franchise has evolved in the Bay of Quinte.
On Friday morning, the organization will reveal the new name of the arena, after the contact ended with CAA.
