The Quinte West Professional Firefighters Association Local 1328 collects winter gear all year for children in need.
The 35th edition of their Coats For Kids program has launched.
Donations of new and gently used winter gear for those aged 17 and younger, can be dropped off at Quinte West First Station #1 all year. The team also accepts monetary donations.
Lat year, over 550 coats were distributed.

Proof of identification for the parent or guardian is required, and families are encouraged to bring their children to ensure proper sizing.
