Giveaway Days in Belleville and Quinte West this weekend

Here we go again…

Fall giveaway days in Quinte West and Belleville will take place this Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th.

Residents in both communities are encouraged to place gently used and unwanted items out on the curb each day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a clear sign that they are free.

Good stuff to put out this weekend:

• CDs and DVDs
• Books
• Furniture and home decor
• Small appliances and kitchen items
• Construction materials, such as hardware, lumber and drywall

Health Canada’s Consumer Product Safety Directorate advises against giving away cribs, car seats, strollers, bath seats and playpens.
