This week is Crime Prevention Week across Ontario.
Belleville Police have announced that the week once again provides an opportunity to highlight priorities identified by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police.
Belleville Police will be hosting a “Coffee With A Cop” event on Wednesday, November 4th. The event will take place at the Starbucks location at 295 North Front Street from 10 a.m. to noon.
Local officers have also organized a Prayer Walk For Peace. The event will start at 1 p.m. this Thursday, and raise awareness about combatting hatred and violence.
